Red snakeskin & Blue birds

Lately, I've been really into prints. I've seen this dress all over lookbook, chictopia, blogs, and tumblr. It's cute and comes with a black string as a belt but, I decided to use a Forever21 belt instead. Usually, I see this dress paired with black shoes. Black shoes are great and you can never really go wrong with them but, why not try something else? I thought it would be fun to juxtapose this printed bird dress with a pair of red snakeskin (faux) heels. What do you think?

Pink & Polka Dots

I know in some parts of the country, this week is the first week of school! Although I recently graduated, here is my back to school outfit anyway :) I have had the J. Crew oxford heels for over a year and have NEVER worn them. I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to style them.

Turquoise & Lace

Living in the Southwest means that somehow, inevitably, turquoise is going to make its way into your closet. I'm not saying I don't like turquoise the stone or color. But before moving to New Mexico, it was never really a color or stone I was interested in. Now I really appreciate the color and the stone. I decided to wear neutral colored clothes so that my turquoise items would pop.

So I'm going to start doing outfit of the day posts. I'm going to post as often as I can. Luckily, this week I'm home. Next week I'll be in Vegas and then off to Hong Kong for 2 weeks. Anyway, here is today's outfit.

Hawaii Part 2

The second part of my Hawaii trip was spent on the island of Oahu. I stayed in Honolulu. Right away I noticed how much busier Honolulu is compared to Kona on the Big Island. It is definitely more of a tourist destination. Anyway, I did my share of touristy activities. I visited Hanuama bay nature preserve. It was once a volcanic crater but because of the collapse of its wall, the Pacific Ocean flooded the crater and a marine bay was created. There's a variety of marine life living in the bay. I was able to explore it by going snorkeling here too!

I also visited the Byodo-In Temple at the Valley of the Temples Memorial Park.

I also went to the Dole plantation. The pineapples in Hawaii are so delicious!

Hawaii Part 1

Hello and welcome to my blog! I travel often and take lots of pictures so I thought this would be the perfect first post. Last week I returned to NYC from Hawaii. For the first part of my trip to Hawaii, I visited the Big Island. While on the Big Island of Hawaii I went on a 12 hour tour and took photos of all these things!

I was sooooo tired after our long day! But the next day I went on a submarine adventure!

Then I finished the first part of the trip with a nice dinner and watched the sunset at our hotel.
